관악구는 별빛내린천 봉림교(신림동 1642-7 일대) 상류에 음악분수를 설치해 운영하고 있다. 이 시설은 길이 44m, 폭 2.8m의 직선형 하상분수로, 다섯 가지 분수 형태를 연출할 수 있으며 최대 높이 20m까지 물줄기가 솟아오르는 고사분수 기능도 갖췄다. 음악과 조명이 함께 나오는 방식으로 운영된다.
분수 주변에는 버스킹 등 공연을 볼 수 있는 수변 무대와 수변 테라스가 조성돼 있다. 인근에는 신원시장, 별빛신사리 등 상권이 있어 분수를 보러 온 방문객이 주변 상가로 이동하기도 쉽다.
음악분수는 오는 10월까지 매일 정오, 오후 3시, 7시, 8시, 9시에 각각 20분씩 가동된다. 별도의 예약이나 입장료 없이 볼 수 있어, 인근 주민들은 저녁 산책이나 가벼운 외출길에 들러 볼 수 있다.
Musical Fountain Installed at Byeolbitnaerincheon in Gwanak-gu, Operating 5 Times Daily Through October
Gwanak-gu has installed and is operating a musical fountain upstream of Bongrim Bridge (around 1642-7 Sillim-dong) at Byeolbitnaerincheon. The facility is a straight riverbed fountain measuring 44 meters long and 2.8 meters wide, capable of producing five different fountain formations, and also features a "gosa" jet function that can shoot water up to a maximum height of 20 meters. It operates with music and lighting together.
Around the fountain, a waterside stage and waterside terrace have been created where visitors can watch performances such as busking. Nearby commercial areas like Sinwon Market and Byeolbitsinsari make it easy for visitors who come to see the fountain to also stop by the surrounding shops.
The musical fountain runs for 20 minutes each session at noon, 3 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m. daily through October. Since no reservation or admission fee is required, nearby residents can drop by during an evening walk or a casual outing.
